Topic Examination
If
you make a webpage 'out of the blue'
If you make a page that is 'out of the blue' with
no site or folder relevancy, it will not assist your domain in any
way.
As you start to expand your website, ensure that
the topic is closely followed throughout. 'Out of the Blue' pages
that are not topic related will detract from your overall site
match. To reach a top ten position, make sure that any posts placed,
blog articles or pages that you write are suitable for your site and
your site alone.
Be very rigid on the topics allowed to be
discussed.
If you want to create a site with lots of topic
variety, you must be very selective and wisely link those pages to a
similarly based topic.
Why?
If your site jumps around with no cross page
matching, site matching, hidden query or outbound, inbound link
popularity, the formula's applied that index your site will not rank
highly. This simple fact is why many great sites with lots of great
information are lost inside the web. Too much jumping and no
matching.
I want a multi topic, wide variety site
There are many benefits in making a website that
is widespread and gives more readers more options, however, if this
is your aim... Always use specific folders and page match across
those folders and subfolders.
Site design is more than creating pages, you should ensure that
non-master topics are treated like a mini or sub web page.
If you jump around too much, your overall
page match, initial page rank and most of the articles posted on
www.quicksmart-design.com
and other leading Search Engine Optimization Websites will be lost.
If you haven't yet read the articles named

very easy to apply.
Avoid right from the start creating 'sad pages' or 'blue' pages
within your domain. It will be very hard to later find a genuine
reason to link to them which means later, the page rank will become
less and less. Blue pages are a trap.
This does not mean you need to pigeon hole your
site, make it wide and varied without creating lots of sad pages.
Pages out of the blue or non readily common will
soon be lost. Also, it is very hard to create a multi linked
internal site for obscure topics.
If you add a page that is not specific to the main description of
your site, make a folder and expand that topic to at least 10 pages.
Within those ten pages, make a page that is clearly more important
and can be given a higher initial page rank.
