Forget about Keywords.

To build a Top 10 website, it must have a valuable entity that holds it own.
The only...
The only page worth carefully scripting is your home page. Carefully study your domain statistics and include a keyword orientated phrase on the home page for every main category page within the website. Use Multi Level folders, mini sites, file names and some of the 120 design tips on this site on your home page. For all other pages, you must provide a natural search string to become popular.
Make your purpose very clear
If you have an ecommerce shopping site, show very clearly what's on offer, easy linking to product categories and how safe your site is. If you have an information based site, keep all info clear and quick. Use headlines and titles to help your viewers.
Make your site sectional and very specific
Ensure your web site visitors can easily and quickly all areas of the site. This should include the latest offers, best buys and favorites. Compelling websites always get higher traffic because their page online time count is higher.
Using Meaningful Graphics
Dont associate your site with fancy graphic design that are slow to download, hard to read or totally off parallel with your site. If you must use pretty human pictures, make sure the imagery is suitable and professional.
Notes: If you have an ecommerce site, make sure that all pictures are very well presented. This will be a great difference between you and a competing ecommerce store or online shop. Many times, affiliates will outperform the master online store just by concentrating on the pictures shown. Affiliates understand more often than the master the importance on picture relevance.
Vary your keywords (example kw's - phrases, keywords)
Read these sentences and pick out the words. As from the
very first paragraph on this page (top), people search using their own words,
insert as many relevant alternatives to key words as practical. You
can add as many keywords in phrases you need PROVIDED you write such
phrases in a natural way. E.g. Phrases that show prominent
keywords are a great technique. Also, if you want to add popular
keywords to your pages, try adding them inside phrases.
This example above shows a variation of the two specific terms.
