Write keywords and key phrases (multi-word phrases) inside a word document as you build a website. Store the points inside the doc and re-visit the file often so that you can expand on what is important for you and learn to extend the multi-word phrases inside the web page design domain. Register all the expanded words and count them.

Target key phrases rather than single keywords.

Single keywords regularly entered by web users, which makes them more difficult to target effectively than multi-word key phrases. Unless the single keywords are highly unique, your best results will be achieved using key phrases.

Use longer words and plurals.

If you target plural versions of your keywords or phrases, you'll get hits from people searching for the singular and plural versions of those words.

Create content rich, relevant and topical sentences and paragraphs that are well written.
