Search Engine Optimisation Tips
Why
a page result search query may be similar but not exactly returned
What is a hidden query term?
Often, query words do not show up in some results
or in the cache. This may be the result of the query word
matching a link on another page that points to the URL
that is listed on the search results page.
To help you understand how a search query works,
in general, popular and well written, informative and frequently
visited pages obtain a higher rank compared to other pages inside
your site.
So, when live on the web, a person may type in a search string
seeking lots of page results. To find your site amongst millions, the
SE's match search queries with listed pages inside their indexes. If
your page is not listed, not popular, does not have a history or has
ever been listed in the SE cache systems and doc servers, it is very
hard to be found.
Cross hypertext links and phrases across pages
One method to help page matching and initial page
rank is to ensure that your hyperlinks are written with phrases and
sentences more than 2 words long. If you can write the hyperlinks
across your entire domain that lead to other pages, the matching a
link or another page storage and cross relationship will be stored
and search resulted with the SE's.
The SE Cache
1. Try this simple exercise on your favorite SE.
Search for WEB PAGE DESIGN
The results page will show lots of over 5 million
pages.
2. At the lower section of each result next to the
shown page URL will also show Cached - Similar Pages
3. Click on the Cached link. The result
pages will show more information about the site/page results. The
top of which may be in a frame.
Look at some of the results like this:

How to use this
Use hypertext links with specific search phrases
and two to three keyword matches to hyperlink across the entire
domain.
The more cross domain, inbound hyperlinks,
outbound hyperlinks, phrases and sentences, references and general
'text based' links that point to a main subject of that link the
better for achieving a top ten website.
Phrase searches do not always appear on the SE's
because of other reasons, their make up and algorithms, datacenter
switching and so on, however, this principle of page matching and
link matching is key to SEO. Occasionally, different results
returned are the popularity of finding the words within the phrase
query in anchor text on pages that link from that anchor text to the
page shown as a result. But the words do not necessarily appear in
exactly the correct order within the anchor text
Tips:
Ensure you site and pages are cache friendly. To
do this, if you use inserts, web structures that require server side
includes etc, ensure you also have secondary pages that are static
so that your web site design is indexed, stored and completely
retrievable from the SE's caches.
Tips:
Find your pages on the search engines click on
the Cached link. Look at the date at which the page was
spidered. Use that information to help you update your site and
pages.
