Some search engines consider tiny text (i.e. font size 1 - 8pt) as an attempt to fool the search engines. Some webmasters have abused tiny text in the past to hide dozens of keywords on a web page that human web surfers cannot view. If your page has text or links that are smaller than 9pt (1em) you should consider removing all small fonts and replacing with larger font sizes.
